Telangana SSC Class 10 Maths Important Questions 2027 — Chapter-Wise Paper I and Paper II

TSBSE SSC Class 10 Maths important questions 2027: chapter-wise for Paper I and Paper II. PYQ frequency, top 20 repeated topics, question type breakdown.

In short: Telangana SSC Class 10 Maths has two papers (Paper I: 50 marks, Paper II: 50 marks). Based on previous year question analysis, about 60–70% of questions repeat from a pool of predictable topics. This post lists the most important questions chapter-wise for both papers, with PYQ frequency data and the top 20 most repeated topics.

How to Use This List

This is not a random question bank. Every question listed here is based on analysis of Telangana SSC Maths papers from the last 5 years. We tracked which topics appeared, how often, and in which question type (1-mark, 2-mark, 4-mark, or 8-mark essay).

How to study with this list:

  1. Start with the top 20 most repeated topics (listed below).
  2. Within each chapter, focus on the question types that carry the most marks.
  3. Practice the 4-mark and 8-mark questions first — they carry the bulk of marks.
  4. Use 1-mark and 2-mark questions for quick revision in the last week.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many marks are guaranteed if I study only the top 20 topics?

Based on PYQ analysis, the top 20 topics cover approximately 60–70 marks out of 100. However, the remaining 30–40 marks come from variations within chapters, so studying the full chapter is still recommended for 80+ scores.

Should I focus more on Paper I or Paper II?

Both papers carry 50 marks each. Paper I is more calculation-heavy (Algebra), while Paper II is more proof-and-diagram-heavy (Geometry). Most students find Paper II slightly harder because of proofs. Give Paper II an extra 2–3 days.

Are the question types fixed every year?

The overall structure (VSA, SA, Long Answer) is consistent. The exact number of questions per type can vary slightly. The total of 50 marks per paper does not change.

Do I need to memorize proofs?

Yes. BPT proof, Pythagoras Theorem proof, irrationality proof, quadratic formula derivation, and tangent-from-external-point proof appear almost every year. Memorize these 5 proofs.

Is there internal choice in the papers?

Yes. The essay/long answer section typically gives 3 questions and you choose 2. This means you can skip one 5-mark topic per paper if needed.

How different are Telangana Board Maths questions from CBSE?

The core concepts are similar but Telangana Board includes Sets (not in CBSE Class 10), and the two-paper format means more total questions. Telangana questions tend to be more direct and less twisted than CBSE questions.

Where can I find previous year Telangana SSC Maths papers?

Previous year papers are available on the official TSBSE website (bse.telangana.gov.in). Schools also distribute model papers. Padhaao's exam practice mode generates questions based on the Telangana pattern.

What if I cannot solve a 4-mark question in the exam?

Write whatever you know — the formula, the diagram, the first step. TSBSE gives partial marks for correct steps even if the final answer is wrong. Never leave a question blank.
