Why Exam 1 Matters More Than You Think
Karnataka 2nd PUC uses a best-of-two system (Exam 1 in March, Exam 2 in May-June). But Exam 1 is still the primary exam for two reasons:
- KCET uses PUC marks: 50% of KCET rank comes from PUC marks. The earlier you have a strong score, the better.
- Exam 2 is improvement, not replacement: Most students who do well in Exam 1 don't need Exam 2. Aim to do your best in Exam 1.
